Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed and chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pizza dough for 4 calzones
Instructions:
Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C
Put the broccoli pieces, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, marinara sauce, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Mix the ingredients together
Combine well
Cut the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces
Then, roll out each piece into a circle or oval shape that is about 1/4 inch thick
Put some of the chicken and broccoli mixture on one half of each circle of dough, leaving some space around the edges
To make a half-moon shape, fold the other half of the dough over the filling
To seal the calzones, press the edges together
Print out some parchment paper and put it on a baking sheet
After the oven is hot, bake the calzones for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes
If you want, you can dip your Chicken and Broccoli Calzones in extra marinara sauce before serving
